As Christians, we often give voice to the concept of 'Community.' Shepherd Consulting's consultation work is built on the firm and certain knowledge that true leadership happens not because an individual leader is given the right to have their way, but because all stakeholders within a community are heard, understood, and participate in the healthy formation of growth and service. We are intentional about inclusion.
Matthew 22 records Jesus speaking at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem saying: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind." 'Mind' is an addition to this age-old saying that emphasizes how important the intellect is to God. Our team is a group of servants who have spent their lives both operating within successful Christian institutions and THINKING seriously about them too. THINKING and doing go hand-in-hand for us and we will bring that to bear for your organization too.
All of our practitioners/consultants come from a Christian background that is diverse in both academic training and in praxis. These traditions include Mennonite, non-denominational Protestant, Reformed, and others. As such, we are blessed to become part of your organization's family no matter the tradition.
Leadership Support, Strategic Planning, Governance, Organizational Development, Fundraising, Charitable law, Youth Ministry, Academics, Business Development, Preaching, and more. Shepherd Consulting's broad range of leadership support for your church, school, or charity will make you confident that you do not have to search around for a different support service provider for each challenge that comes your way. We anticipate being a lifelong champion to your work. We are in it for your long-term success.
We espouse the words of Arthur N. Turner in The Harvard Business Review,
"A consultant’s fundamental objectives must include:
