We believe that robust consulting using sterling business acumen, begins with foundational beliefs.  This is a simple acknowledgment of the fact that people act according to their deepest inclinations and worldviews. As such, the worldviews of people in leadership need to be expressed in the processes that are followed. For example, the discipline of 'waiting' is critical in a Strategic Planning process to give stakeholders time to adjust and build trust in the formal leaders. 

Our associates are proven senior leaders in the Christian church, academic, and charity environments. They don't take this lightly especially since they can all testify to being 'called' by God to serve in these sectors.

CONTEXT matters. All of the people, culture, and unique realities of a place make a difference. Shepherd Consulting is intentionally Canadian and understands the demands, opportunities, and challenges that come with working in this northern context. From something as simple as understanding "In Canada, who is a 'stakeholder?' and "Why it matters!" The Supreme Court has ruled on such matters, and your organization knowing that reality makes a huge difference in approach.

Alignment across the stakeholders is paramount!  Shepherd Consulting is mindful of this group dynamic when it comes to fostering strategy toward operational growth. It is essential to implement communication, conversation, feedback, and evaluation tools to engage leaders, governing bodies, and other stakeholders. Consequently, Shepherd offers a custom-designed process tailored to the uniqueness of all your people.

'Strategy' is an oft-confusing term. Sometimes it is wrongly understood as 'hope.' Sometimes, a synonym for 'plans.' But for Shepherd's leaders, 'strategy' is 'the path that produces implementation.' It is our chief goal to ensure that whatever we do, it produces change that leads to fruit, not a report that sits on the shelf.  We believe the final goal is to produce fruit-bearing change. 

We understand that times are difficult and that every organization is in a different place, financially speaking. Shepherd Consulting does not want your organization's financial realities to preclude you from excellent consulting. So, although we have set rates, do not hesitate to ask us about flexible pricing. As a group of associates, we are doing this work because we want to give our best to our calling.
